1. ⁠AOPAS Member for at least 2 years, with podium presentation(s) in previous AOPAS Annual Conference.
2. ⁠Minimum of 3 years after post graduation (MS/DNB) with special interest in pelvi-acetabular trauma . Maximum age of 45 years at time of Conference.
3. ⁠ ⁠May be either working as part of a Pelvi acetabular unit OR should have worked with a Pelvi-acetabular surgeon of standing. The candidate should be exposed to 10-20 pelvi-acetabular surgeries annually.
4. ⁠ ⁠Recommendation of work by two senior AOPAS faculty members.
5. ⁠ ⁠Candidates for the fellowship need to do a presentation in front of the committee regarding their objectives and also vision post fellowship. The candidates are expected to follow pelvi-acetabular surgery as a longterm career path and spread the knowledge to others after return.
6. ⁠ ⁠Candidate who avails the fellowship needs to present his fellowship experience at the subsequent AOPAS Annual Meeting.

The person who is selected for fellowship needs to avail the fellowship within the next year before the next AOPAS Conference. Waitlisted candidate shall be offered the fellowship, if the selected candidate declines the offer. The fellowship cannot be rolled over to next year beyond the next AOPAS Conference. Candidate needs to send applications to the Hony Secretary AOPAS by email. Before 18 April, 2026.
