Those who initiated formation of association in the year 2005 by contributing Rs. 25,000 towards the corpus.
Eligibility:
1. Any Eminent person, not necessarily a Pelvis and Acetabular Surgeon, from India or abroad who has made significant contributions, in basic research in Pelvis and Acetabulum or to the cause of Pelvis and Acetabular Surgery.
2. Who has been recommended by the executive committee, shall be considered eligible for admission to Honorary Membership. (Recommendation from the executive committee to clearly mention the claim to eminence and the contribution to the cause of Pelvis and Acetabular Surgery)
3. To be confirmed by the General Body Meeting.
Eligibility:
1. An Orthopaedic Surgeon who has obtained recognized (by any registered medical council of any state or union territory or MCI) post-graduate qualification in Orthopaedic Surgery and who is actively in the practice of Orthopaedic Surgery.
2. Who is duly proposed and seconded in the prescribed form by the 'Members' of the AOPAS; and
3. Whose name, after proper scrutiny is recommended by the executive committee shall be considered eligible to be admitted as a Life Member.
Members from SAARC countries shall pay contribution equivalent to their Indian counterparts, but have privileges limited to overseas members.
Eligibility:
Post graduates trainees or students in Orthopaedic Surgery, Members of Medical Profession interested in Orthopaedic Surgery, who are duly proposed and seconded by members of AOPAS and recommended for admission by the executive committee shall be eligible for Associate Membership.
